ALMEDALEN 2023
Almedalen is an annual event that brings together government, political parties, and business to engage in political discussion, social and business discourse, and democratic debate. Also known as Politician’s Week, the event is held in the city of Visby, on the Swedish island of Gotland.
This year Business Sweden were active participants, hosting three live hybrid discussions focusing on market opportunities in Asia, Europe and the Middle East, and North America.
Business Sweden experts were joined by international and Swedish decision-makers to discuss market specific rules and conditions for entrepreneurship and the strategies needed to navigate sustainable growth in a rapidly evolving and changing global business landscape. Our agenda for our dedicated programme at Almedalen followed the sun's progress. As the sun rose in the east, our focus turned to Asia, then to Europe and the Middle East and finally to North America.
