Sofie Vennersten is the program director of Drive Sweden. She has over 18 years' experience from different positions in the transport sector. She spent six years as project manager in the City of Gothenburg, Traffic and Public Transport Administration and has also been a consultant at WSP, responsible for managing a number of multi-stakeholder transport projects. In 2012, she started at Lindholmen Science Park and contributed to the forming and development of the Swedish transport efficiency arena CLOSER, where she was the director for four years.
Since 2019 she has been the director of the Swedish Innovation Program Drive Sweden. Drive Sweden gathers over 140 partners from industry, society and academia, and has the mission to create and demonstrate the sustainable mobility solutions of the future - for both people and goods – based on digitalisation, automation and sharing.
Mattias Bergman is CEO of BIL Sweden, an industry association for Swedish manufactures and importers of passenger cars, buses and trucks. Prior to this, he was President of NEVS, a developer and manufacturer of electric vehicles and mobility services based on the assets of SAAB Automobile. He led NEVS’ transition from a conventional car producer to an electric vehicles producer to a mobility service provider.
Bergman has also held senior positions at Springtime, Swedish Trade Council (now Business Sweden) and has worked extensively both in Sweden and APAC and with international companies. He has also been a Board Member in companies and associations in different industries. Bergman holds a Global Executive MBA from Copenhagen Business School/ INSEAD and a BA from Stockholm University.
Fredrik Sidahl has been CEO of FKG for the past nine years. In his role leading the Scandinavian association for suppliers to the automotive industry, he has daily interactions with authorities, politicians and the media to champion and help improve the conditions for suppliers. Sidahl has a place on the board of directors for CLEPA (European Association of Automotive Suppliers) as well as in their steering committee. He is also a board member of FFI, a partnership between Swedish government and the automotive industry supporting joint funding of research, innovation and development focusing on climate and environment safety.
Sidahl has also spent time in various roles at Volvo Cars, SAAB and Caran. He is a keen aviator in his spare time.
